What's a tribe?
A tribe is a sub-community inside ClubSave, organized around how you actually shop — not where you live or which warehouse card is in your wallet. Same store, very different carts. The new parent loading up on wipes and formula isn't hunting the same deals as the macro-counting gym regular or the coupon-stacking deal hawk. Tribes put you next to the members who fill their cart like you do, so the feed, the deal alerts, and the splits all hit closer to home.
Tribes you can join today
- New Parents — diapers by the pallet, wipes by the case, and a 64-pack of snacks nobody should buy alone. Split it down to a sane amount.
- Healthy Shoppers — protein, produce, and the Kirkland staples that disappear by Tuesday. The protein bars hit different when you split a 64-pack and only pay $18.
- Super Savers — the lowest cost-per-unit, every time. These are the members who already know which week the rotisserie deal drops.
Coming soon
We're warming up a few more tribes built on the same idea — find your people, split the haul, swap the wins:
- Foodies — the find-it-first crowd chasing seasonal drops and limited runs.
- Big Families — when "bulk" still isn't quite enough to make it to Friday.
- Side Hustlers — buying for the resale table, the pop-up, or the small shop.
Tag how you show up
Tribes are about what's in your cart. Tags are about how you show up to a split. They're self-selected — pick the ones that fit, change them anytime — and ClubSave uses them to point you toward the right people and the right role in every buy. A few are natural opposites (Organizer/Splitter, Local Pickup/Ship & Deliver) so members sort themselves cleanly.
- Organizers — you start bulk buys, set the quantities, and coordinate the group order.
- Splitters — you'd rather join an existing buy and take a share than lead one.
- First-Timers — new to splitting; this flags you for a little extra guidance while you find your footing.
- Frequent Buyers — you're in on a lot of splits, and the loyalty perks should find you.
- Local Pickup — you'd rather grab your share in person at a meetup point.
- Ship & Deliver — you need your portion shipped or dropped off instead of picked up.
- Flexible Quantity — you'll take whatever's left to round out a lot, so buys don't stall.
- Verified Payers — clean payment history, so organizers know you're good for it.
- Bulk Hosts — you've got storage or a staging space where orders get received and divided.
- Watchers — not ready to commit yet, but you want a heads-up when the right deal drops.
Don't see your people? Suggest a tribe.
This list isn't finished — and it shouldn't be written by us alone. If you fill your cart in a way none of these quite covers, tell us. The best tribes come straight from members who already know exactly who they'd shop alongside.
Tell us three things
- The tribe name — what would you call it?
- Who it's for — describe the member in a sentence or two.
- What they buy in bulk — the staples that fill the cart every trip.
Send it our way and we'll read every one. Good ideas get built.
