Welcome to ClubSave ("we," "our," or "us"), a mobile application developed and operated by BBS Developers / Bulk Buy Splitter, Inc. ClubSave is a members-only social community for warehouse club shoppers, available on iOS and Android.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and website at clubsave.net. By using ClubSave, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, username, phone number, and optional bio/profile information.

User-Generated Content

We collect content you create, including posts, photos, comments, hashtags, and mentions shared within the ClubSave community.

Social Connections

We store information about your followers, accounts you follow, and your interactions with other users.

Video Engagement Data

When you watch embedded videos from YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), or Pinterest, we collect play counts and watch time data to improve content recommendations.

Subscription and Payment Information

ClubSave offers a subscription service at $2.99/month (with a 2-week free trial). Payment processing is handled by Google Play Billing and Apple App Store. We do not directly store your credit card or payment details.

Device and Usage Information

We automatically collect device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, IP address, app usage patterns, and crash reports.

Push Notification Tokens

If you enable push notifications, we collect your device token to send you alerts about likes, comments, new followers, and deal notifications.

Search Queries

We collect search queries you enter within the app to improve search functionality and content discovery.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account
  • Provide and personalize the ClubSave experience, including your social feed and tribe recommendations
  • Process subscription payments
  • Facilitate bulk-buy splits and member matching
  • Send push notifications about community activity
  • Moderate content and enforce community guidelines
  • Analyze usage trends to improve our services
  • Communicate updates, promotions, and service-related notices
  • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

ClubSave integrates with the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

Embedded Video Platforms

ClubSave embeds content from YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), and Pinterest. When you view embedded content, these platforms may collect data according to their own privacy policies.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your data in these circumstances:

  • Service Providers: Third-party vendors who help us operate ClubSave (hosting, analytics, payment processing)
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, subpoena, or legal process
  • Safety: To protect the rights, safety, or property of ClubSave, our users, or the public
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
  • With Your Consent: When you explicitly authorize sharing

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL), secure server infrastructure on AWS, access controls and authentication, and regular security assessments. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention, legal compliance).

8. Children's Privacy

ClubSave is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will promptly delete it. You have the right to:

ClubSave is operated from the United States. If you access our services from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using ClubSave, you consent to this transfer. We take steps to ensure your data receives adequate protection consistent with applicable data protection laws.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and notify you through the app or via email. Your continued use of ClubSave after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
